About Me

For the past two decades, I’ve held various human resources and talent development leadership positions at large national and global corporations including Boeing, Walgreens, and Ingersoll Rand since 2002.

The best part of my work in the human resources profession has been supporting individuals through career development, progression, and transitions. Capitalizing on this passion, in 2006, I launched St. Louis’ first interactive television program dedicated to helping people through career transitions. While the show tackled career-change, growth and development with its viewers, it didn’t offer useful advice on how to conquer fear of the unknown. To address that need, I co-founded The Center for Career and Life Transitions (CCLT) in 2013. The CCLT is a learning and coaching organization that helps people in transition leave their Anxiety behind, establish Balance, and move forward with newfound Confidence.

While I am an architect of learning and development solutions for others, I also believe in continuous learning for myself. From 2013 through April 2018, I served as the president and a board member of Human Resources People + Strategy (HRPS), the St. Louis affiliate. HRPS is a network of executives and thought leaders in the human resources field. Being an active leader in HRPS supported my growth kept me ahead of the curve with the industry best practices in the strategic human resources, talent and leadership development functions.

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville and a Master of Arts in Human Resources and Industrial Relations from the University of Minnesota.
